cholestamine powder and Vitamin B12 deficiency

I was prescribed QUESTRAN (cholestamine powder) for high cholesteral for years. I took this stuff for at least 12 years and suffered the bowel problems as a result.

Upon discontinuing I developed awful digestive trouble, spontaneous diarrhea quickly after eating, this went on for years. No doctor could help. I went for years not eating out in public or having to take anti-diarrhea compounds.

I was diagnosed with low iron when I got pregnant and now am unable to maintain reasonable B12 levels. Anyone else make a connection like this?
